Concrobium Mold Control is sold by the largest home improvement and hardware chains in the US, Australia, and Canada and has become the solution of choice for do-it-yourselfers (consumers) and professionals. Their customer-facing site was generic and industrial-looking. Through a collaborative effort between MHz and the Concrobium marketing team, three specific take-aways led the changes to the site. 1. Lead with quick and dramatic explanations of the product; 2. Tap into the emotional response people have towards mold; 3. Foster one-to-one relationships as the consumer’s partner in their fight against mold. The final site is responsive with a complete CMS and numerous interactive elements, including a custom-built Product Wizard to help customers find the perfect product for their needs. The end result was a core site with two distinct languages across four country-specific sites. The site was optimized for speed and search. Phase 2 of the program included the redesign of the Concrobium “For Professionals” websites with a scope similar to the main site. In addition to digital initiatives, the Concrobium team looked to MHz to produce a number of off-line brand experiences.
