Rogers Wireless Inc.

This regional segmented direct mail campaign created for Rogers Wireless targeted five professions and was implemented on a national scale. Rogers wanted to gain additional penetration for the PalmOne Treo in five vertical markets: the medical, legal, financial services, insurance and real estate professions.

MHz's mandate was to generate voice and data activations by introducing the Trio as a compact device capable of all key communications functions. We targeted each vertical with a graphic that would hit home: The mailer to realtors showed a house photo on the screen of the Trio; for insurance professionals we showed a car accident; and so on. This campaign realized both efficiency and cost savings in its production through on-the-fly data base driven graphic content changes, customized verbiage and personalization using Variable Print Technology (VPT). Eye-catching visuals, together with a $100 rebate, tear-away sales rep. contact information and customized copy aimed at each vertical, ensured an immensely successful campaign.
